Re: DKC Custom Level Ideas

Looks like water levels are in popular demand. I have to say, i do love those! I've got a new one of my own- Level Name - Murky Musty Mine Theme - A mostly flooded (and abandoned) mine. This mine was built right next to a lake, which eventually got larger as a result of more water feeding into it fr...

Re: Making your own custom songs for a DKC fangame

This is not an original composition of mine at all. It comes from the SNES game called Waterworld (based off a movie). From what i hear, game is horrible, but you MUST hear this particular tune they used in the diving stages- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H5YoFv09uQ I don't know about you, but i c...

Re: DKC Custom Level Ideas

Level name - Dreary Deck Deluge Level used - DKC2's normal ship levels (such as pirate panic) Kongs - Diddy/Dixie Music - i'd like a slow, atmospheric, and dramatic tune. Still having the accordion sounds, but definitely subdued. Ideally, there is a really cool song in Disney's Maui Mallard Cold Sh...

Re: Donkey Kong Country fan-game ideas

OCremix did a really awesome version of Donkey Kong Land's Kremlantis theme-

http://www.ocremix.org/game/donkey-kong ... b/remixes/

I'd like to hear that in DKC. Doubt it'd be easy to convert to SPC though.

Re: DKC Custom Level Ideas

Gamemaker is a pretty nice drag and drop application used for creating your own games. It's best for those of us with minimal coding skills. In fact, years ago, I recall this level builder actually being a DKC engine built in Gamemaker by both Simion32 and CFH. Simion32 I believe decided the program...

Re: The Donkey Kong Country Level Builder

*Is fascinated by the new updates* Really, now that the physics are being figured out, you're getting to the most important aspect. And doing a great job as well! In a semi-related thing- Romhacking is back up. They lost all data since April though thanks to a massive server failure due to hacking. ...

Re: The Donkey Kong Country Level Builder

Thanks very much for the welcome and quick and helpful response! Just to clarify though, I'm not asking anyone to do this (that would be stupid of me since I have no code skills myself). I just wanted to get an idea of what would be possible in the future and see what you thought. I hope DKC hacking...

Re: The Donkey Kong Country Level Builder

This is I believe my first post on this forum, so hello. Thanks for your hard work thus far on this editor and best luck to you in your future workings. I wanted to ask a question about the progression with code that you have made and the knowledge you have gained by making this editor. Would it be ...
