This is typical of any DKC game or level, but perhaps as a mystery... reappearing Slippas?

After coming out of the bonus room with the Slippas in the pit, if I recall correctly, there won't be any slippas in the pit. Go right until you're offscreen, and depending on how far you travel, a snake or two will appear out of the ground again.

Eh... better than nothing... maybe.

Ah yes, definitely. It is a mystery that they just appear afterwards... Good suggestion!
